Inventory Management

There’s been a few nice warm days this week, so I thought I would take advantage of some down time to do some inventory management. Why do an inventory count? A complete inventory check at the start of the year lets me get my hands on all the equipment. While I am inventory the equipment I thoroughly test everything and see if there is anything missing or broke. This is also when I re-evaluate my equipment list and order anything that I think I may need this year.

G&E Inventory

It helps to keep the G&E trailer well-organized so everything is labeled and has a home. I always provide my clients the best maintained and most current gear on the market.

Grip Inventory

I have what I consider a large 3 ton G&E package. My grip package has everything you would expect from a big rental house. I have a large selection of stands such as Mombo Combos, High Rollers, Combo stands, Low boys, Beefy Babys, Preemie Baby and of course lots of C-Stands. A full sets of flags in various sizes, floppy’s, cutters, cucoloris and open frames. My frames and rag sets come in 12X, 8X and 6X. The grip package also has a large variety of hardware, apple boxes, sandbag and much more.

Camera Support Inventory

I have a Matthews Round-d-Round Doorway Dolly with full accessories, seat & riser and track Wheel set. My custom designed speedrail slider that can be configured up to 8 feet. For motion shoots, I use a DJI Ronin gimbal with full accessories including a dove block for mounting to Cheese-plate, Mitchell mount and 75/100mm bowl mounts.

Lighting Inventory

I also have a large inventory of HMI, tungsten, fluorescent and LED instruments from brands such as ARRI, Mole-Richardson, Kino Flo, Lite Panels and more. My tungsten light package includes everything from 2K’s to 300 watt peppers and various degrees of Leko’s. Kino package includes 4×4’s 2×4’s and 2×2’s sets. HMI lights include 1.2K Par and Mole Fay 9 lights and 5 lights.
